The Association of the Grassroots Women Entrepreneurs, Bangladesh ( AGWEB) organized a training for the Women Entrepreneurs on” Jute Items production” with the Financial Support from the IFIC Bank, in Barisal during February 4-5 2017. A total of 30 local Women Entrepreneurs attended the 2 days training at Shilpokuthir, Nabagram Road Barisal. The inaugural session were attended by Mr. Raziur Rahman, the Vice President, Ms. Sheren Sultana, the Principal Officer from IFIC Bank Dhaka Head Office and Mr. Zakir Hossain, Manager, IFIC Bank Barisal Branch, Mr. Abdus Salam Miah, Director Programme, Mr. Asadul Islam, Project Coordinator and Mr. Forhad Hossain, Monitoring Officer, of AGWEB were participated.
After the inaugural session, Mr. Raziur Rahman and Ms. Sheren Sultana gave a 2 hours session on Banking procedure and necessary requirement of the IFIC Bank for bank financing to the women Entrepreneurs. After the discussion session, the participants attended the hands-on practical training on Jute Goods Production for rest 2 days under the guidance of Ms. Shanjida Salma, the owner of Shilpokuthir, Barisal.

Previous The Association of Grassroots Women Entrepreneurs, Bangladesh (AGWEB) organized the opening of the third training session on “Skills for Employment and Investment Project (SEIP)” at AGWED Institute of Technology in Vannara, Kaliakoir, Gazipur.
